🌙 Meet Kimmii — Founder & Dance Instructor at Crescent Moon Dance Studio

Hiya! I’m Kimmii, the proud creator and dance teacher behind Crescent Moon Dance Studio. I'm a woman of many hats — I’ve trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), run my own gluten-free catering company, help manage admin and accounts across my family’s businesses (including my dad’s landscaping company), and I’ve recently taken on work with local Body Corporate Committees. I'm a busy little crescent moon phase — but I truly loveeverything I do and feel incredibly blessed by this beautiful, wild, magical life.

Dance has been a constant through all the phases of my life — just like the moon, I’ve evolved, changed, grown, and sparkled through it all.

🌟 My Dance Journey

I returned to dance about six years ago, purely for fun — and through it, I found healing, friendship, and joy. Dance has always been a safe space for me: a place to let go, express myself, create, and connect. But not every studio felt right. After a heartbreaking experience at a previous studio that left me feeling isolated and unwell, I took a step back to begin my healing journey.

It was during that time of transformation that I had a vivid dream — of women dancing under the glow of a crescent moon, shining and free. That dream became the seed of Crescent Moon Dance Studio. A space not just for movement, but for magic, sisterhood, growth, and self-love.

At first, I had no plans to teach — but dance ideas wouldn’t leave me alone! I’d be busting out choreography near the gluten-free Tim Tams in the supermarket. That spark kept growing… until it became a full moon.

Since opening the door to my own studio in march 2025, with a space that was purely my own, I produced and choreographed our first Production Show -MYSTIC GODDESS, Performed at GC500, Performed at CHEVRON Street party, and working on our next three production shows coming to 2026.

In March 2024, I opened Crescent Moon Dance Studio. Since then, we’ve welcomed an incredible community of dancers — beautiful souls who show up every week to move, laugh, let go, and connect under the moon glow.

In March 2025, we celebrated our 1-year anniversary, and on March 29th, we opened the doors to our very own studio HQ, on March 29th we celebrated one year in our Chevron Island CMDS HQ. It’s a dream come true — and just the beginning!
